Join us on MAKER DAY!
Johnston’s second Maker Day will be a showcase of work of all kinds by all ages.
Do you like to tinker, invent, craft, perform, inspire, and/or create? In the “Do-It-Yourself” spirit, everyone is invited to show off their skills at the second annual Johnston Maker Day! That includes you – programmers, educators, engineers, inventors, authors, crafters and artists. As an individual or part of a group, all ages are invited to participate and share their skills with others.
All are invited to this FREE event to take part in and learn a new skill. Exhibits last year included: robotics, concrete planters, lego display, spin art, slime, illustrative paintings, fabric arts, blanket forts, a tuba performance, rockets and reactions, solar power light making, cake decorating, snap circuits, harmonica making, coding and MORE!
If you have a skill/talent you would like to share and showcase, we want you to be involved. Be a part of Johnston Maker Day and complete an entry form at www.johnstonlibrary.com/makers.
