On to State: JHS Mock Trial District Results

Nine teams of high school students from the Johnston Community School District recently competed in the district mock trial competition held in early March. Four teams: All-American Redirects, Squadra, Big Mock Candy Mountain, and Jabberwocky qualified to advance to the state level, March 27-29.

Twenty-nine students received recognition as outstanding witness or attorney at the district level. The teams received excellent support from parents and attorneys in the community.  Kathy Paul is the teacher-coach for the students, with Sue Cline assisting. Congratulations to all!
