Developmental Kindergarten and Kindergarten Registration (2022-23 School Year)

Registration Opens: February 16, 2022

We are proud to offer two kindergarten options for children.

Our Developmental Kindergarten (DK) program is offered in the morning or afternoon, and is designed for students old enough for kindergarten, but who may need an extra year of development before they are ready for all-day kindergarten. Skill development will focus on reading/literacy, math, and cognitive/social proficiency.

JCSD also offers all-day kindergarten at each of our five elementary schools. Students will master reading, writing, math, science, and related arts skills that serve as the foundation of their learning for years to come. Student-focused cognitive and social development is also a part of each day.

*Child must be age 5 by September 15, 2022 to enroll for DK or kindergarten.
