Cheer Grades K-5 OR Grades 6-7 JHS Cheerleaders teach techniques, jumps and cheers. Participants should report to their school gymnasium immediately after school each day. Performance Details- More details will be emailed out later. September Registration opens 8/1
Dance Grades K-5 Learn the best dance moves from the Johnston Varsity Dance Team after school each day! Dancers learn a short routine which they will perform on Friday night before the home varsity football game at JHS Stadium. All dancers receive a t-shirt to wear for the performance. Soccer Grades K-7 This clinic provides young players with a variety of coaching styles, practices, and influences that will help them develop a well-rounded set of skills. Please bring a soccer ball (if you have one), water bottle with name, and clean, court shoes. Registration opens 12/20
Soccer- Girls Grades 8-12 Clinic leader leads participants through training to get players ready for the season. This camp’s goal is to prepare high school girls for the demands of the upcoming season, both physically and mentally. Camp sessions will focus on physical, technical, tactical, and psychological training. This camp is open for any and all Iowa girls high school soccer players. Bring warmer clothing and outdoor soccer shoes in case camp goes outside. Registration opens 12/20
Softball Grades 1-7 Coach Todd Merical, along with his staff and players from the Johnston High School squad, will be working with the participants illustrating fundamental skills and drills in hitting, fielding, catching, and throwing. They are excited to meet players and their parents in the community to discuss softball mechanics, fundamentals, and philosophies. There will be hands-on help from many of the current players as they work on the skills right along with you. Mark it on your calendar, come out and get a jump on your softball season! Please wear clean, dry shoes, comfortable clothing and bring your bat and glove if you have one.  Cage masks are optional to wear. Registration opens 12/20
Wrestling- Girls Grades K-12 FREE for all girls interested in learning more about the JHS Girls Wrestling Program. Teaches the fundamentals of wrestling and the basics to be successful in the sport. Please bring a lunch for Day 2. Registration opens 8/1
