Tae Kwon Do

  • WHAT: This Korean art of self-defense (includes Tae Kwon Do and Karate concepts) is recognized as a beneficial method of improving health, balance, agility, and poise. Tae Kwon Do is also a philosophy of mental alertness and moral ethics that can serve to enhance anyone’s life, young or old. This program is year around so sessions may be taken on an individual basis or ongoing.  Students must sign up on or before the first class day of each session.
  • WHO: Ages 6 – Adult
  • WHERE: Johnston District Office Gym (6510 NW 62nd Ave in Johnston), Enter and exit on the east side.
  • WHEN: Thursdays from 6:30pm – 7:30pm
  • COST: $47 per person
  • WHAT to WEAR: Please wear active clothing.
  • INSTRUCTOR: Phil Dickey, a fourth Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, Fifth Degree Black Belt Karate, Renshi Instructor with Ryukyu Kempo Alliance, and a 3-time Martial Arts Hall of Fame Inductee.
