Take a Break from Child Care
KTC consistent schedule contracts allow for a certain amount of vacation days during specific seasons (school year or summer). Consistent schedule contracts will credit for scheduled care if a child is not in attendance during times listed below. Credit is done after the vacation times. Pick Your Day contracts allow for more flexible non-participation days. More information for vacation and non-participation days can be found below.
School Year Vacation Days
Participants that have a consistent schedule contract for the school year are allowed two one week vacation weeks (M-F). The form below must be completed and turned into the KTC main office two weeks prior to the week you want vacation. Please use the link below and complete the form. Download and complete the form, save with child’s last name in title, and email to Lori Meyer. Or print and complete the form and take to the KTC main office located at the District Office/Community Education 6510 NW 62nd Ave. Please do not drop forms off at KTC sites.

Thanksgiving Week Non-Attendance
Participants that have a consistent schedule contract do not have to attend the week of Thanksgiving (Mon. 11/20 & Tue. 11/21). The form below must be completed and turned into the KTC office by Nov. 1 if you will not be attending KTC the week of Thanksgiving (Nov. 20 & 21). Please click the link below to complete the form. You may need to download the form or open it as a PDF. Upon completion, save the form (save with last name in title) and email it to Lori Meyer. You can also print the form and bring it to the KTC office located in the District Office at 6510 NW 62nd Ave. Please do not drop it off at site.
Thanksgiving Week Form
Non-Participation
Participants that have a Pick Your Day contract are not required to schedule every week. If there is a week when care is not needed, do not schedule for that week. Pick Your Day contracts can schedule for whatever weeks care is needed. There is no limit to the number of weeks not attended during the same season.
