Join anglers from Trout Unlimited North Bear Chapter to try your hand at fly tying and casting a fly rod at the library pond. Fly rods and fly tying materials will be provided to use during the class. Kids 10+ may attend with a parent. Registration required at johnstonlibrary.com/events.

Learn football skill from Drake coaches and players, while having a TON OF FUN!

Relax with a yoga class for kids and their families presented by Happy Heart Yoga. Feel free to bring your blankets and a towel/yoga mat. We will have some available if you don't have one. Join us as we partner with Tippi Toes for this FREE fun, high-energy dance class! Music, movement, balance and the basic dance steps will be introduced in a friendly and positive way. Tippi Toes instructors will keep the music and curriculum moving along in a way that is exciting and engaging!

Pop-up Games will be turning our meeting room into a mini-golf course! Drop in any time from 10am-4pm and play with your family. This event is for kids in elementary school, but everyone in the family can play. No registration required. Please arrive before 3:30pm in order to complete the course.

Our summer camps provide expert coaching, structured drills & competitive play to improve the fundamentals, skills & confidence of our camp participants. Whether a camper is a beginner to basketball or an advanced player, our camps provide a valuable experience to everyone, promoting growth!

Try some basic moves from different dance styles, learn a little history behind dance, and watch short performances from the Yaro Dance Company. Dancers will be there to show off their shoes and costumes and talk about their love of dance! Presentation led by Ami Yaro from Iowa Ballet Academy.

Drake volleyball camps are a great way to get active this summer and engage with our student-athlete's here at Drake! Our goal is to teach young students about the game of volleyball and have fun!
