Students Qualify for State National History Day

National History Day StudentsWednesday, March 2, and Saturday, March 30, students from Summit Middle School, Johnston Middle School, and Johnston High School competed in District Iowa History Day competitions. Students have been working on their in-depth research projects for several months. Several students and projects have qualified to compete at the State of Iowa History Day competition on April 29, at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines. Students will be  competing for a chance to represent Iowa at the national competition that will be held in Washington, DC in June.
