Wallace Auditorium Dressed Up with New Curtains

With funding from the Polk Co. Board of Supervisors and the Johnston Community Schools Foundation, new theatre curtains were recently installed in the Wallace Elementary auditorium. The curtains that had previously cloaked the back stage area moved to the new Johnston Middle School location in 2018.

The new curtains complete the auditorium and will be put to good use during school and community functions. On an annual basis, the Polk Co. Board of Supervisors invests millions of dollars back into Polk County organizations, infrastructure projects, education, arts and culture and the overall betterment of the community.
