Featured Book of the Week:

Some Places More Than Others is about Amara.  All she wants for her birthday is to travel to NYC for her birthday to meet her Dad’s family (some of whom for the first time).  It’s the trip of a lifetime – not only to see the sights of NYC – but also to see her family history up close and learn so much about her Dad and where he came from.  It’s a delightful book about where you come from and forgiveness in families.

SUMMIT SPANISH CLUB:

¡Hola, chicos!

Would you like to be involved at Summit? Do you enjoy playing games, learning about different cultures and making new friends? Now is the perfect time to join the Summit Spanish Club!

Spanish Club meets every other Tuesday from 3:30 to 4:00 via Zoom. Our first meeting of the 2nd semester is next Tuesday, January 12. This is a great opportunity to make new friends and have fun, all while learning a valuable language! Sign up by clicking this link or scanning the QR code from the flyer below. You can also scan the QR code from flyers around the building at Summit. Please email me atjilian.meyer@johnston.k12.ia.us if you have any questions.

¡Gracias!
