  • REMAINING NHD PRACTICES BEFORE REGIONALS: Friday 3/8 2:50 – 4:00pm, Tuesday 3/12 6:30 – 7:30am    All Registrations must be completed by 12:00AM on Tuesday 3/12.  This is the student portion of the registration that comes AFTER Ms. Ites set up the intial registration.  Thursday 3/14 2;50 – 4:00pm, Friday 3/15 – all websites close at 10:00pm, all papers due at 4:00pm  SPRING BREAK, Tuesday 3/26 6:30-7:30am – NHD Regionals presentation practice,  Thursday 3/28 2:50 – 4:00pm NHD Regionals presentation practice, SATURDAY 3/30 – 7:30am – 4:00pm (approx.)   • JOHNSTON PARTNERSHIP: Personal Care Drive this WEEK for Partnership Place  Students can bring in donations for Johnston Partnership this week.  All items donated will be given points.  Summit students first goal is to her 8,000 points!  Help them reach their goal!  Requested Items and Point Values, Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, toothpaste, mouthwash, dish soap- 10 points (pts) for over 8 oz., Laundry detergent- 20 pts for over 30 oz, Paper towels and toilet paper-2 pts per roll, Deodorant (full size), hair brush/comb- 6 pts, Toothbrush- 4 pts. , Pads/Tampons- 1 pt for every 4, Floss, 50 Q-Tips- 1pt, Diaper-size 4 and up- 10 pts per dozen , Nail Clippers- 5 pts, Cash Donation- 5 points per dollar    Please make any checks out to Johnston Partnership. Give cash/check donation to student’s teacher.   Personal Care items can be put into the donation bins in each community.   • CHEERLEADING–8TH GRADEInterested in trying out for 8th Grade Cheerleading?  Plan to attend one of our informational meetings to learn about tryouts.  All students interested in trying out for a fall or winter cheerleading squad must have at representative attend ONE of two parent/cheerleader information meetings prior to tryouts. *Monday, March 11th at 6 pm OR Tuesday, March 12th at 7:30 pm in the JHS cafeteria. Attendance at one meeting is required in order to tryout.  Tryout forms will be handed out at this meeting so you must attend in order to receive the tryout paperwork.  Even if you aren’t sure, plan to attend this informational meeting so that you have the information you need to make the decision that is best for you.  We hope you will join us to cheer on our DRAGONS!  Questions???  Contact Kate Safris kastsafrii@aol.com
