• THREE HOUR EARLY DISMISSAL THURSDAY at 11:50am
• BOOK FAIR: Our Scholastic Fall Book Fair starts this week. We will be on an “Ultimate Expedition” to find great new books.

Our hours each day are:

Thursday, November 14th- 8:00 am to 11:45 am and 1:30 pm to 8:00 pm

Friday, November 15th- 8:00 am to 12:00 pm

Monday, November 18th- 11:00 am to 2:45 pm

Tuesday, November 19th- 11:00 am to 2:45 pm and 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm

Wednesday, November 20th- 8:00 am to 12:00 pm

If you don’t want to bring cash to school, your parents can add money to an eWallet online for you to spend at the book fair.  Have them add to your eWallet at https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/summitmiddleschool5 .

• FROM THE SCHOOL CLIMATE COMMITTEE: WINTER WARMTH DRIVE The Summit Climate Committee is collecting winter warmth donations for The Partnership (a nonprofit organization that has been serving Johnston for over 20 years!). If you have items you’d like to donate, you can put them in the bins outside your community. You can also take them to Adara Salon and Spa or Active Wellness in Johnston. Some examples of donations are coats, gloves, hats, earmuffs, snow pants, boots, etc. We are accepting any sizes; baby to adult. Please make sure your donations are in good condition, and have been washed before you brinDecember 2nd. Thank you for helping our community!
