We won the Mid-Iowa Band Championship! Three years in a row! So many happy tears! Johnston ends the 2023 marching band competition season with a 1st place after all that hard work — early morning and late night practices since June. Also won for color guard and percussion. Go Band!

team won their home invitational today, going 4-0 to end the regular season with a record of 30-6. Post season play starts next week with the Dragons’ first match at 7 pm Thursday, October 19 at Johnston High School.

For those that don’t know, Dragon Scholarship Fund provides EVERY JHS senior that applies financial assistance as they continue their education beyond high school. We raise money in the community throughout the year to fund the need. The class of 2023 received close to $100k in financial assistance.
