Attention students!
Next week is educator appreciation week and in order to kick off the week we are celebrating some of our own unsung heroes on Friday, May 3rd. During your lunch hour please make sure to thank the JMS school nutrition staff for all their hard work, dedication and kindness! <3

 

All 9th Grade Band Members:  On Friday, May 3, we will have combined mass rehearsal during 3rd and 4th period in the band room.

Attention students!

The Evelyn K. Davis Center for Working Families has a summer youth experience program for students ages 14-21. This ten week experience will provide two weeks of educational experiences that: capitalize on their individual strengths, develop their skills and competencies, provide volunteer and civic engagement opportunities, and connect them to positive adult role models. SYEP will then provide eight weeks of entry level work experience in a variety of jobs at city agencies, hospitals, summer camps, schools, nonprofits, small businesses, landscaping businesses, retail companies, and the Evelyn K. COACH WOODLEY WILL BE OPENING THE FOOTBALL STADIUM UP AT THE HIGH SCHOOL FOR OPEN FIELDS FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN PLAYING FOOTBALL NEXT FALL STARTING SUNDAY, APRIL 28TH, MAY 5TH AND MAY 19TH. THE FIELD WILL BE OPEN 5PM TO 6:30PM ON THOSE SUNDAY NIGHTS. THIS IS OPEN TO ANY CURRENT 8TH AND 9TH GRADER PLANNING ON PLAYING FOOTBALL SO PLEASE COME AND WORK ON YOUR GAME. JMS students and staff: Reserve your 2019 Yearbook TODAY!  If you did not purchase one during registration, order now to reserve your copy. YBs cost $28 and can be purchased with cash or check in the office or with a credit card on REV TRAK. Books are on sale from now until the reserve supply is gone. Student writers and photographers did outstanding work this year–you won’t want to miss it!
