Hello JHS Students & Guardians,

Please see the information below about the Summer Strength & Conditioning program. This program is free to all Johnston Community School District registered students. Students may choose to attend one weightlifting session per day, and one speed & agility session per day, at the time that works best for them. Also, they can choose to change up times on different days or different weeks.

CANCELLATION PROCEDURE:

In the event that we need to cancel a session due to instructor illness/emergency, PARENTS will receive an email notification from Melissa Crosse, Assistant Activities Director.

FAMILY WEEK:

The Unified Activity Federation (Iowa High School Athletic Association, Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union, Iowa High School Music Association, and Iowa High School Speech Association) Non-Contact Period for the summer of 2022 will be Sunday, July 24, 2022, through Sunday, July 31, 2022.  This is the second year of an annual break in activities across Iowa each summer.

During this time, there will be no Activities in the Johnston Community School District to include camps, clinics, workouts, strength and conditioning, lessons, meetings, emails, etc.
