A Source for Accurate Information
The Johnston Community School District is home to a field of experts in PreK-12 content-specific curriculum, child development, instructional technology, student activities, and athletics.
Media representatives are encouraged to contact the district’s communications office when seeking a source expert, visit to district facilities, or other district information. Permission to interview, photograph or videotape students must be given by the communications department before access will be granted. This is done to protect the privacy of our students and any student who may not be eligible for media release.
Our district requires active consent from parents when a student is interviewed by the media. Consent can be given online with this Photo Release Form.
